We’re in the station line up for something
It’s crowded like hell and nobody cares
About patience, about tolerance
Oh, they all vapor in hot air
They say I should keep move but they don’t give me a room
They keep pushing me back and front
And there’s little devil pop up in my head
Rebel, rebel, rebel
It’s enough!
I will say it clear, I will tell till you can hear
Why I should do what you want but you don’t
I can’t please everyone, I will stay if I want
No matter how hard I should stand my right
By the end you will learn not to ignore
We’re living in mechanical world
Everything out of system will be called junk
Even for a dream, even for change
They won’t believe if there isn’t a proof
They say I should have all but they surround me by wall
And there’s little devil pop up in my head
Rebel, rebel, rebel
Is that enough?
I will say it clear, I will tell till you can hear
Why I should corrupt my heart just to meet your standard
I can’t please everyone, I will do what I want
No matter how long I should fight
By the end you will accept my point
We’re too much having senseless war
They claim they who on the way
To give justice, to make promise
Damn, it’s just a lie as usual
They say they’re who right but they’re wasting my time
They keep covering up and up
And there’s little devil pop up in my head
Rebel, rebel, rebel
It’s really enough!
I will say it clear, I will tell till you can hear
Why I should follow this game when you order with power
I’ll stop you now, I’ll prove you wrong
No matter how hard reality is I will stand for peace
By the end you’ll not get anything worth over
We’re running out the world
Everything exploited till the limit
Only for money, only for greed
And anybody should pay for it
They say there’ll be better life but it’s only lullaby
They keep robbing my land and culture
And there’s little devil pop up in my head
Rebel, rebel, rebel
It’s better enough!
I will say it clear, I will tell till you can hear
Why I should suffer with your own doom
I’ll stop you now, there’s no other direction
No matter how long we must protect we should love more this earth
By the end our children could also feel that their home
is a beautiful place

America your kingdom calls
America her rise and fall
Oh America land of the free
Mighty protector
Of our oceans and seas
With warships and carriers
Patrolling the universe
Escorting Kuwaiti oil tankers
Enforcing the international water pact
While our coastlines and boarders
Are over trampled by the importation
Of deadly contrabands and drugs
America your kingdom calls
America her rise and fall

Homeless citizens hungry and cold,
Weak and sick
The elders mistreated,
The children molested
Hospitals to busy to cater to the poor
Neighborhoods to pure to integrate
Land where the pilgrim cried
Land where our fathers died
Enslaved, tarred and feathered,
Tortured, shot, beaten and transformed
INTO WHAT? ? ? ?
America your kingdom calls
America her rise and fall

Daisies grow tall over the graves
Of those who have passed
Michael Steward, Eleanor Bumpers,
Michael Griffin, Amedu Diallo
The casualties are mounting
Penitentiaries over flooded
With prisoners of war
Trained to flounder,
To stumble and fall
Trained from childhood
For the unenviable role
Of supporting actor
In a one man show
Racism continues to prosper and grow
Yes there’s still racism
Sub-par housing and discrimination
Second class education
And non-representative legislation
Stuck beneath the totem pole
Ask not for whom the next bell tolls
Oh America your kingdom calls
America her rise and fall

America, Please, Listen!

Land of greatness,
Land of beauty,
Land of Laughter,
Land of dreams
Land of tears,
Hear me!

You ask me to love America.
Yes, I love America,
I love its soul of freedom,
The dignity given its people,
The freedom to think and speak,
But don’t ask me not to love my beginnings!

My first country taught
Me how to love a country.
Standing on its mighty shoulders
I can reach out and love America.
All that I bring that is best,
Mingles with America’s majesty, and I grow!

My first country taught
Me how to speak a language,
That’s why I can learn English.
If I really forgot my first language,
I would be mute! With the mighty machinery
That my first language gives me, I can learn English.

America,
To ask me to forget my beginnings,
To use only English,
To love only America,
Is to ask me to rip away my soul.
Then, what of worth is left?

I was born in the United states, and I am a US citizen. Yet, except
for Native Americans, all of our families were once immigrants.

Oh people of America, people of America
Take a good look at our homeland
Do you really understand
Before you finish reading this poem
Do you have a daughter or son
Young people are leaving their home at an early age
Yet, there is a need for someone to be saved
Take a good look at our homeland
Many people are playing in the same band
Along the eastern coast of our nation
What do you see in the making?
Oh America, America, America
Why not be a complete free nation
Do you see this in the making?
For many years our country has been blessed
Now someone inside is making a big mess
Why pick up guns and fight against each other
Why not love as sisters and brothers
Oh something is going wrong today
People are looking the other way
Our POW’S have been freed
Is there another war in the making like most people believe
At Wounded Knee, S.D. our brothers and sisters
Want a little more freedom
Can you see this in the making?
America, America God shared his grace on thee
Yes he shared his grace for you and me
I want you, you and you
To take a good look at our homeland
When you get back will you take a stand?
Maybe you are thinking about playing in the same band
The only thing i ask you and you to do
Love your sisters and brothers
The way God loves me and you

America has Longfellow and Whittier and Poe
And Frost, Lowell, Bryant and Whitman their legend grow and grow
But the Voice of America to none of these belong
That title belong to one more lyrical one who was a prince of song.

Camptown Races, My Old Kentucky Home and the unforgettable Old Black Joe
His songs as popular today as they were decades ago
My Jeannie With The Light Brown Hair and Hard Times Come Again No More
Are sung in halls and pubs and clubs far from his Homeland shore.

The legacy of his genius lives in the beauty he did create
The name of Stephen Foster is a name to celebrate
His songs withstand the test of time the greatest test of all
The many memorable songs he penned are delightful to recall.

America can boast of many great poets their’s is a Worldwide fame
But the one who penned the legendary songs Stephen Foster was his name
Is the Voice of America he did not live to be old
He died young and impoverished or so we have been told.

Pictures flit across the screen,
Vile pictures ~ Truly obscene,
Bodies entangled and wound so tight,
Multiple bodies stacked for height,
Some of the subjects wore bags as masks,
One wore undies and was displayed to bask,
In the pictures were soldiers that smiled,
Proud of the art that they styled,
Laughing at the tormented men,
Slapping and smacking ~ Discipline,
American soldiers ~ Prison guards,
Sent to protect Iraq’s yards,
Protect and fight for Iraq to be free,
Sent to do good ~ Not to impede,
America proud to extend her hand,
To this country in the desert sand,
Seeing what Saddam had done,
To his people and their sons,
Murder happened everyday,
The lost were found in mass graves,
America truly wanted to give,
A better future ~ Her only motive,
Then these pictures hit the press,
American soldiers no one could dismiss,
Horror swept through this land,
This isn’t what America planned,
These pictures smacked America’s face,
And left a stain ~ A stain of disgrace,
Freedom will now live in the news,
Listen to the different views,
Democracy lives as the system weaves,
This is your chance ~ Open your eyes ~ Believe.

triumphantly they shout, jubilantly they celebrate, joyfully
they sing their voice of praises and thanks, its a day and
a moment, to remember that the nation has come together
to face the new challenge of a new America

it is a call to victory, all are winners, all are beginners, to a
new vision of what awaits to the American people in the
high way of change, for every one holds a breath of history,
a chapter in every pages of life, in search to a prosperous,
nation

dream are only a dreams, shackle in the ecstasy of memories,
just always remembered, our dear forefather for they believed
of what they envision of the future, their hearts leads us to
conquer of what is today and now is the moment to grasp, of
what is time in our hands

today is the future that holds, and tomorrow is the day to stay,
live it today for this future lies only in our hands, a lesson to
know that yesterday is just a steps for to day’s to come

long live AMERICA, there is only one America to live, like
America, a home that every one is free, a nation that God
will find its way, to be bless through out eternity
