When we were young our lives were new
Our shared romance and dreams they grew
Till that fateful day did come and finally the song was sung
But, Life Went On
It hurt and tore deep down inside, The tempest of that terrible ride
Yet slowly diligently I rose above, For life must rise as does my love
And, Life Went On
I’d lived and loved and hoped and cried, To fill my soul but no reply
To quench a fire and dream I’d held, that love and life did not unfold
Yet Still, Life Went On
Life’s numbing monotony did well, Pain and feelings they were quelled
Through it all I was not forsaken, He simply had another one help me
And Too, Life Went On
I saw a life a form of rebirth, We brought 5 souls unto this Earth
They are my pride and their mothers, But now I find there is another
Oh Yes, Life Went On
It’s not over this life I lead, There’s so much left it’s only a seed
My life could grow and yours can too
Say yes to me and let oneness come from two
And As Always, Life Will Go On.

Liking and non-liking are what with what we do play in life,
Families and buildingsare what in which we make investments in life,
Good thoughts and thinkings are what most involve less in life,
Tears and smiles are some with which we interact in life
Mothers and fathers are those who we love in life
Sons and daughters are those for whom we live in life,
Technologies and progress are those we look up to in life,
Yes and nos. are the words to make decisions in life,
Neither and nor are the words we use frequently in lite,
Wealth and money which we whim to earn in life,
Honesty and integrity are those qualities which we love to adhere to in life,
The forbidden fruits are those we wish to taste in life,
Opportunities and chances are fhose we want to get in life,
Creativity and discoveries are those - rare to people in life,
Gone days and memories are those to cherish in life,
Happenings and memories are those like jerks in life,
Struggles and sorrow are those to overcome in life,
The ticking of pendulum is, that reminds the age of our life,
So many are the things to do in life -
So why fear the fact - to step forward with each step towards the end of life?

Beauty, to be, must be whole,
contained within boundaries
like a grape within its skin.
And it must have a backdrop
of neutrality, a place
where it may win
attention to its edges,
soft or hard.
Beauty won’t be marred
by growth or diminution.
A bunch of grapes will do as well as one,
But Beauty will escape
from one grape
crushed beneath the foot,
will alter shape
to reappear
in wine full red and clear.

The park is filled with night and fog,
The veils are drawn about the world,
The drowsy lights along the paths
Are dim and pearled.
Gold and gleaming the empty streets,
Gold and gleaming the misty lake,
The mirrored lights like sunken swords,
Glimmer and shake.
Oh, is it not enough to be
Here with this beauty over me?
My throat should ache with praise, and I
Should kneel in joy beneath the sky.
O, beauty, are you not enough?
Why am I crying after love,
With youth, a singing voice, and eyes
To take earth’s wonder with surprise?
Why have I put off my pride,
Why am I unsatisfied, –
I, for whom the pensive night
Binds her cloudy hair with light, –
I, for whom all beauty burns
Like incense in a million urns?
O beauty, are you not enough?
Why am I crying after love?

They say beauty’s only skin deep but what do they really mean.
The only thing that’s beautiful is only what’s unseen?
I guess beauty starts at the heart and goes down to your feet.
Is that what they mean, when they say beauty is Skin Deep.
Its that one characteristic that’s only with you.
Some people will want to know how yours work but they will never get through.
Or do they mean the conceited ones, that thinks their beauty will take them anywhere, especially anywhere you’ve been.
Oh no, thats not skin deep, that’s people digging under your skin.
Maybe because they want that same thing that makes you so mean, but still so sweet.
I guess that’s what they mean when they say Skin Deep.
